Overview:


This article will show users how to access their Mimecast Inbox, and also view inboxes from individuals that were assigned to the user.

  • Opening Mimecast Inbox
  • Switching to different Account

Opening Delegated Inboxes:

  1.   Open Outlook 
  2. Click on the Mimecast Tab and open the Online Inbox                                                                                                                  
  3. Once you have opened the online inbox you should see something like below

  4. Click on your Profile Avatar in the top left hand corner. A list of the delegated accounts you can access is displayed.
    1. Click on the Open button next to the delegate mailbox you want to access. A new browser tab is displayed for the delegate's account.
    2. Once access to a delegate's mailbox is displayed, all the functionality available to your account is available for the delegate's account. This includes the ability to access their:
      • Inbox and Sent Items folder
      • Archive folders
      • Calendars
      • Personal / Moderated On Hold queues
      • Bounced / rejected message lists
      • Managed senders lists

  5. When composing a message, it is sent from the delegated user. To switch back to your profile:

    1. Click on the original browser tab.
