Overview:


This article will walk you through installing CCH Fixed Assets.

  • Installing CCH Fixed Assets
  • Browsing to Clients (Conversion Transfers > Chattanooga Clients)


Section 1: Installing CCH Fixed Assets


1. Open File Explorer

   


2. Go to L:\IT_Helpdesk\Installs-Updates\CCH


3. Double click fixed-assets-2022.02010.exe


4, Click Browse

   


5. Enter C:\ProgramData\SmithHoward and press Enter IF THE PERM KEY IS NOT SHOWING IN THIS FILE PATH IT IS AVAILABLE IN THE S: DRIVE, Please reach out for assistance on this step!

   


6. Select fxperm02 and click Open

   


7. Click Next

   


8. Click Next

   


9. Make sure Standalone Install is selected and Click Next

   


10. Click Next

     


11. Click Next

     


12. Make sure CCH® ProSystem fx® Fixed Assets is set as the Program Folder and click Next

     


13. Click Install

     


14. Select Yes, I want to restart my computer now and click Finish

     


Section 2: Browsing to Clients


This section covers Opening client files and accessing the listed data for Chattanooga client files, access to the F: Drive will be needed. IF F: Drive is not available please reach out for assignment to requested member's account.


  1. With CCH Fixed Assets launched, select File > click Open (Ctrl + O) to be met with the Open Client window.
  2. The Location window will need to be changed from the default: C:\FixedAst\UserData\ to the F: Drive location: F:\ConversionsTransfers\Chattanooga Conversions\FA Files ****-****\
  3. FA Files will need to be adjusted by folder path based on the client number range, FA Files 00001 - 10152 for example.
