Reserving a Zoom Workspace
Requirements:

- Zoom Workspace app: Desktop, Mobile, or Web version
Overview:
This guide will show you how to reserve a desk using Zoom Workspace. We'll walk you through the process the Zoom Desktop App, Mobile App, and Zoom Web Portal.

Zoom Desktop App & Zoom Web Portal:
Please use the following link to sign into the Zoom Web Portal: https://smithhoward.zoom.us
- Select 'Workspaces' in the Zoom Workplace ribbon bar. If Workspaces does not appear in the ribbon, select 'More...' then click 'Workspaces' within the dropdown menu.
Reservation Details:

The Reservation toolbar, directly below the Zoom Workplace ribbon toolbar, has many features that makes checking availability for Workspaces (Desks and Rooms) easy. By filtering through the Reservation Details, this ensures that you find the desk that meets your in-office requirements.
- Date: Click the calendar icon to select the date that you want to reserve a desk or meeting space.
- Timeframe: Select the timeframe that you want to reserve a desk.
- Floors: Click the dropdown menu and select the floor where you want to reserve a desk.

Filters: Click the filters icon
to filter by Rooms, Desks, or Assests.
- Rooms: Under the Rooms filter, you can filter based of room capacity by entering a capacity range
- Assets: Under the Assets filter, you can filter by room type, monitor size, and additional assets like Neat Boards or Scan Stations. Multiple assets can be selected in the Filters dropdown.

Search Bar:Can be used to search for members to check their current reservations, search for rooms, and desk based off their Neighborhood ID.
- Neighborhood ID is based on four main locations: Westside (WEST), Woodruff (WOOD), Centennial (CENT), and Chastain (CHAS).
- My Reservations: The My Reservations tab is also listed here to view all active and upcoming Desk and Room reservations that are scheduled.
- Once the desired workspace criteria are entered, view the floor map for available desk recommendations. You will see labels on the map that point out recommended desks, based on your search criteria highlighted in a green desk icon.
- Click the Desk or Room that you want to reserve

A new panel will appear on screen. This panel will include the following:
- Workspace Name: Names will be based off of the map Neighborhoods -- Centennial (CENT), Chastain (CHAS) Woodruff (WOOD), and Westside (WEST).
- Reserve For: This field is optional and can provide the option of reserving for oneself or for another member using the dropdown arrow
to search for members.
- Reserve Date & Time: Selecting the forward arrow
opens the Date & Time field so members can choose the date and time range for their reservation. If the desk members want to book are busy, click the desk and select View Availability to view and select available reservation times.
- Custom Recurrence: This feature make its simple to book Workspaces for Daily, Weekly, or Weekday recurrences. Members will be able to use the When dropdown for the start Reserve Date & Time and the End Date for when the member will be reserving the workspace until.
- Location: 21st -271
- Assets: This field will show the assets available with the selected workspace selected for reservation.
- Click Reserve to confirm your booking
The workspace will be reserved for you.
Zoom Mobile App:
How to access Workspace Reservation using the Zoom mobile app:
- Launch the Zoom Workplace for Intune application & sign in using Zoom credentials.

- Tap More to access the Workspaces menu under the Added Features section.
Reservation Details:
- Once the desired workspace criteria are entered, view the floor map for available desk recommendations. You will see labels on the map that point out recommended desks, based on your search criteria highlighted in a green desk icon.
- Click the Desk or Room that you want to reserve

- Click Reserve to confirm your booking, once the detail requirements are met.
Note: If a desk you want to book is busy, tap the desk and select View Availability to continue to view and select an available date and time. The desk’s details will appear, showing who reserved the desk and its location. Reserved times are blocked off on the reservation schedule.
