Requirements:
- Right Networks Account
- Duo Mobile Application
Overview:
RightNetworks holds vast amounts of sensitive client information, and in order to continue securing this data at an enterprise level; Multi-Factor authentication has been implemented to all accounts that have access to this service. This MFA acts as a secondary layer of authentication and protects all accounts with this enabled.
In order to continue to use the Remote Desktop environment on workstations, DUO will need to be setup for all users with accounts.
Setting up DUO MFA:
- The Duo MFA setup will be prompted upon sign-in on the browser: https://apps.rightnetworks.com/login
- Start the setup by choosing the Device Type, Downloading the application on device, and then choosing the type of notification. (Our preferred method is using mobile devices and push notification to the app)
- Follow the instructions that are prompted based off of your device type, but the APP is mandatory
- Once you are setup on your mobile device; the app should look similar to this:
Remoting into the RDP again:
- Once the MFA has been setup, logging into the Remote Desktop connection should be the same but with the MFA being prompted and accepting it on your mobile device.
Computer View
Mobile Device View
- You should be able to use the RDP freely again with the MFA setup and enabled
