Overview:


This article will guide users on how to fix the following Error. This occurs upon opening any PDF and disables the "Send to GFR" tool within Adobe. 




Solution:

  1.   Open Adobe and select "OK" on the error prompt to allow Adobe to open.
  2.   Navigate to the "Edit" tab towards the top of the Adobe. This will open a tab menu in which you will select "Preferences"
  3. A new window will appear and you will browse through the Categories and select "Security Enhanced"
  4. Once you have found the correct category navigate towards the top of the window. There will be a checked box labeled "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" Deselect this option. A prompt will appear asking to continue. Select "yes"
  5. Once you have continued ensure that the Checkbox is disabled and then restart Adobe.  
  6. Apply the change then Close and Reopen Adobe and the error should be resolved.
