Overview:


This article will walk S+H users through adding the Yubikey as a sign-in option for your Firm Account. This will allow users to sign in to any service linked with their Microsoft account. 

  • Managing Sign-In Method


Managing Sign-In Method:

  1. Start by opening the following link and signing in: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info  
  2. Once you are signed in, you will see the Security Info menu that has your current MFA options. You will select the "Add sign-in method" option to begin setting up your Yubikey.

  3. You will select Security Key as your method . Note: You may need to authenticate by signing in using an MFA method before continuing

  4. Once you have authenticated you will select USB device as the key type. Have your Yubikey ready and follow the following Prompts.

  5. Have your Yubikey ready and follow the rest of the prompts until you enter your security key PIN. You will setup and enter a Pin followed by a finger touch of the Yubikey.


  6. This should redirect back to your Microsoft Security Info Page in which you will name the security key. 

  7. Add the key and you are all set. You can confirm by viewing it within your Sign-In method list.
