Raising an Onboarding Request:
With the Employee Onboarding, onboard your hires in a single click by setting up a seamless process for your stakeholders to contribute and collaborate. You can predefine role-specific onboarding kits and, quickly manage and route your onboarding tasks to the right teams to get your hires up and running right from day one. Our Employee Onboarding requests are submitted at the following site: https://helpdesk.smith-howard.com/support/employee_onboarding
To raise an onboarding request, click on Onboard an Employee from the support portal. For example, if you’re an HR Manager looking to initiate an onboarding request, you can raise it here.
Fill in the hire’s details, and the stakeholders to whom you need to forward the onboarding request. For example, you can forward your onboarding request to the reporting manager for further information or approvals. Click Submit and Continue.
Approving and Submitting Onboarding Items:
Once the initial request has been submitted; the reporting manager will receive an email with a link to approve the said request and the onboarding items. Which should look similar to the following.
- There are already item kits in place that are department-specific. These onboarding items are marked as mandatory and the purpose of this onboarding item approval is to specifically assign any extra items that may be needed as well as specify certain access depending on the user's role.
Once approved a helpdesk service request is placed for the Technology Team to begin User Creation and Onboarding.
