Overview:

This article will go over what to expect during the Adobe Acrobat DC upgrade and post-installation instructions


NOTE: Adobe Acrobat DC must be closed before beginning installation of the upgrade.


NOTE: Adobe Acrobat DC MUST be installed BEFORE GoFileRoom Client 20.0.4 is installed or the installation will fail


NOTE: Once Adobe Acrobat DC is installed, open and close it before installing GoFileRoom Client 20.0.4.


Instructions:


1. Open Company Portal from Start Menu

   


2. Search for Adobe Acrobat DC in the Company Portal

   


3. Once installed, open Adobe Acrobat DC


4. Click on Sign In in the top right of the window

   


5. Enter your Smith & Howard email

   


6. Select Company or School Account

   


7. Once you're signed in, close  Adobe Acrobat DC


Post-Installation:


  • Version Check

                1. Open Adobe Acrobat DC


                2. Click on Help 


                3. Select About Adobe Acrobat Standard DC...

                   


                4. A new window opens with information about Adobe Acrobat DC and the version number. 

                   

  • GoFileRoom Client 20.0.4

            NOTE: You must have the new Adobe Acrobat DC installed before installing the GoFileRoom Client

            NOTE: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and IE need to be closed before beginning installation.
