Overview:

This article will cover how to set Teams automatically to open and run in the background as soon as you start your device. 

You can change these settings anytime by clicking the three dots near your account at the top right of the app, then selecting Settings as shown below.

Then select General. From the Application section, you can disable auto-start highlighted in red as shown below.

 You can also change your settings so the app won't run in the background or keep running after you close your window highlighted in yellow as shown below.
