- Booked office/desk
Overview:
This article will walk you through on how to sign in and sign out of phones for hoteling
Key Points:
- You must log into the phone to receive calls and to call out as your number
- Jabber no longer controls your physical phone
- You can make phone calls from Jabber
- You will have to re-sign in to your phone every 12 hours
Signing In to a Phone
1. You can log in on a phone showing “Logged Out Phone”
2. Press the button to the left of the Hoteling label, if a phone does not have this button then it does not support hoteling.

3. In the UserID field use the number pad to enter your phone extension

4. Enter your PIN, your PIN is your phone extension
5. The phone will reset
6. You are now logged in for 12 hours, the phone will log out after 12 hours
Logging Out of Phone
1. Press the button next to Hoteling on the left side

2. From the new screen choose YES to log out the current user

3. The phone will reset
4. The phone will display Logged Out Phone
