This article will walk you through correcting a logon or authentication issue with Mimecast in Outlook


Resolving Mimecast for Outlook Authentication Problems:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click on the Mimecast tab in the ribbon bar
  3. Click on the Account Settings button
  4. A new Mimecast for Outlook window will open to Authentication Settings
  5. Click on the FIX button to the right of Domain Authentication
  6. Enter your current Windows/ Network password and click Submit/Save
  7. Close the Mimecast for Outlook window
  8. Mimecast should now be working
