Requirements:

  • Access to Scanner computer in the Copy Room
  • Access to the Scanner account

Using PaperStream Capture


1. Double left click the PaperStream Capture icon located on the desktop.





2. Load the documents onto the scanner, with the front of the pages faced down.




3.  There are two options. Based on the details, select the option pertaining to required needs.
Autodetect - Color Greyscale 200 SurePrep






  • Color + B/W
  • Auto DPI
  • Picture + Color Documents
  • Saves to PDF
  • GreyScale Scan Only
  • 200 DPI
  • Good for documents that don't scan
    well in the SurePrep Scan Setting
  • Saves to PDF
  • Good for SurePrep
  • Good for GFR
  • Saves to PDF


Note: The scanner will scan in Duplex mode meaning it will scan both sides of the document simultaneously. 


4.  The scanner will begin the scanning process of all the documents. When the scanning is completed, there will be a review panel. If all the documents are in order, continue, if not add or delete the necessary documents.




5. If the documents scanned are in order, left click Complete Batch.




6. This will prompt for the batch to be "released." Left click Yes to continue saving the scanned documents.


7. 

  • To change the location where the file is saved, please left click Browse located next to the YELLOW arrow.
  • To change the name of the file, change the highlighted name next to the PINK arrow.



8. PaperStream Capture will notify you when documents have finished saving.
