Requirements:
- Updated BNA Fixed Assets DesktopPro Software
- Connected to the Smith & Howard Network
- Smith & Howard Username and Password
Getting BNA Fixed Assets To Open:
- Before beginning, save all work and close out of them. Restart your computer. Go to START > POWER > RESTART.

Left click BNA Fixed Assets DesktopPro located in the Bloomberg BNA folder on the START menu.
a. If BNA Fixed Assets opens, proceed to step 8.
b. If BNA Fixed Assets does not open, proceed to step 3.
- Navigate to the L:\ drive

Open the IT Helpdesk folder.

Double click on the BNA Test File to open an updated BNA file. This will fix the error of BNA not opening after the update.

After double clicking on the BNA Test File, BNA Fixed Assets should open.
a. If BNA opens successfully, then move on to step 5.
b. If BNA does not open , please contact the IT Department through a help desk ticket at [email protected]. -
When BNA Fixed Assets opens, there will be an activation option. Left click Activate Online and follow the steps.
After completing the activation steps, BNA Fixed Assets will open.
If BNA Fixed Assets still does not open or you receive an error message, please contact the IT Department through a help desk ticket at [email protected].
